Eight-week sessions include how to prepare for an audition, how to develop your character, and monologue and scene preparation.  Cheryl helps students write an original short script and gives advice on the entertainment industry including how to develop stage presence and confidence. Performance and Private Lessons are offered for Kids and Adults.

Early Fall Classes:

begin Wednesdays from September 10th thru October 29th, 2008

Late Fall Classes:

begin Saturdays from October 4th thru November 22nd.

Prices and times:

$395 one-hour class Kids: (ages 7 to 10)

Early Fall: Wednesdays 4:30pm-5:30pm

Late Fall: Saturdays 10am-11am.

$425 hour & a half class Tweens & Teens: (ages 11 to 15)

Early Fall: Wednesdays  6pm-7:30pm

Late Fall: Saturdays 11:30 to 1pm

$495 two hour class Adults (16 year olds up Adults)

Early Fall:  Wednesdays 8pm to 10pm

Late Fall: Saturdays 1:30 to 3:30pm

$50 discount for early class sign up by Labor Day, Sept. 1st.

The Actors' Center is a resource for actors in the greater Washington, DC area

Last year's Expo included:

·     Over 30 panel discussions and workshops designed specifically for
actors in the Metro-DC area;
·     Monologue coaching classes, where actors can receive feedback from
some of the most influential names in the industry;
·     A vendor exhibit hall, where actors can meet and talk with local
vendors one-on-one, such as headshot photographers, actor software
providers, centers for learning and classes, and much more; and
