In the film, LINCOLN, the events of April 14, 1865 are shown here. Sally Field portrays First Lady, Mary Todd Lincoln and Daniel Day-Lewis, in his Academy Award winning performance as President Abraham Lincoln.
Again, students in this unique class session will choose and research famous people from history they would realistically be cast to portray. Our instructor will co-write original monologues with each student! The original script will show the character when that person was the same age as the student performer.
ALL STUDENTS from both Thursday and Sunday classes will be filming their historical monologues on SATURDAY MAY 13th (scheduled during the afternoon).
Each performance will be filmed in an appropriate costume for that character as a sample to show producers, directors, agents and casting directors. Tuition for this SESSION includes the preparation of an original monologue during six GROUP classes, plus two PRIVATE classes for each student to set up with instructor. A video link for each student will filmed by our camera crew. Classes will be limited to the first eight students who register in each class.
